Mel is a fully qualified animal and human Physiotherapist. She completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy at Charles Sturt University and since has worked in multiple clinics over different states assisting clients with a variety of different problems.

As an avid animal lover from a young age, it was not surprising Mel ended up completing her Post Graduate Diploma in Veterinary Physiotherapy through the University of Liverpool in the UK.

Mel has experience and expertise treating a variety of human, equine and canine musculoskeletal, orthopaedic, neurological and respiratory conditions. Uniquely, Mel has experience and further education in treating Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV) or vertigo or dizziness as well as the Temporandibular Joint (TMJ) or jaw in people.

Mel grew up in central NSW before moving to work at a horse stud in the Ovens Valley and later to Albury for university. A job offer led to her moving to the Mornington Peninsula and understandably it didn’t take her long to fall in love with the beauty of the Peninsula.

Mel has been a keen horse rider from a young age. She has always owned and ridden horses and has participated in a variety of equine disciplines. She loves spending her time with her dog, cat and horses.
